Hot in London

'CLE' <http://finance.google.com/finance?q=cle is the publicly listed holding company responsible for the markets that have popped up in London, Montreal, Chicago and the latest addition in Tianjin, China. Similar exchanges will soon be located in California and New York-- this is a sign of positive growth of the exchanges. I've kept watch on this stock in my 'dream portfolio' to see how it responds to activity in the carbon trading industry. Some industry reports from energy experts have claimed that the carbon trading industry is 'recession proof,' and I'm curious to know what economic indicators will show this. The positive growth in 2008, <http://www.businessgreen.com/business-green/news/2233973/carbon-markets-doubles-2008>, is definitely pointing in this direction. Basically I'm curious to know what sort of market information WILL in fact move it. Also, check out that jump from the initial offering in 2007. This cap-and-trade business was hyped up bigtime at that time, eh? The exchange markets must not have met the expectations of investors soon after though (the massive ensuing drop in share price!!)
